About Education Consulting

Education Consulting

Is your young adult having a difficult time navigating their life direction? Are you finding yourself attempting to help direct them to no avail? Having the same conversation with them over and over? Has it turned to conflict?

With a background in Education, specifically in the study of how young adults emotionally learn, having worked with many families in the throws of young-adult conflict, through individual and family assessment, Jillian Chesley can place your young adult/adolescent in an appropriate school and coach your family to help them through this difficult stage in life.

Your Young Adult

Unlike adolescents, young adults and their families face a more difficult challenge: This young person has all the rights and freedoms of an adult, but with that comes the startling reality of all the responsibility of an adult. Many young adults & their families have a difficult time with this transition.

The thinking part of our brain (frontal lobe) is finally fully developed at about age 24. It is around this time that patterns like work-ethic & relationships begin to become hard- wired. With the proper guidance & environment, old unhelpful patterns can be changed. Because your young adult is no longer bound by law to follow your direction, rebellion is often the pattern you find. Thus Family evaluation and understanding becomes vitally important.
