Santa Cruz Resources

Santa Cruz has many low-income and social service programs available to the community. If you don't find what you're looking for here, be sure to check the internet yourself with key words like, "Low income housing Santa Cruz".

Low Income Counseling

Unfortunately, many low income counseling services for minor problems (relationships counseling, general individual counseling) have disappeared in the past few years due to lack of public funding (Economic Impact of Human Services in Santa Cruz County and Spending On County Human Services Programs In California). Most low income counseling services are now geared toward a specific problem (i.e. substance abuse, domestic violence, severe in-patient mental illness, children, etc.). However, there are a few left. The links below are the resources that may be helpful for counseling.
