Trauma occurs from combat in war, fighting on the streets, being a victim of a crime, from abuse or observing abuse in ones own family. In some cases, this creates Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. Wherever the trauma began, anger and fear in a family can be transferred intergenerationally, from parent to child, to grandchild, etc. There is no one to blame for this - it is a natural process that occurs. However, if one decides to examine the process, one can break the cycle and choose a different way of being for themselves and future generations.
